Make a Meaningful Difference at Your Credit Union

Milestones Federal Credit Union is seeking a member that is interested in serving as a volunteer on our Supervisory Committee.

It’s an important role, and we don’t need you to be a financial expert to make a difference! We are looking for a member who is dependable, thoughtful, comfortable reviewing information, and interested in helping Milestones remain strong, responsible, and accountable to the members and communities we serve.

What Does the Supervisory Committee Do?

The Supervisory Committee provides independent oversight that helps protect both Milestones and our members. The committee works separately from the Board of Directors and helps make sure the credit union is operating safely, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable requirements. 

As a volunteer Supervisory Committee member, you will help:

  • Oversee audits and internal controls 
  • Review financial and operational processes
  • Support regulatory compliance 
  • Promote accountability and member trust
  • Help protect the long-term strength of Milestones Federal Credit Union 

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need a specific professional background to serve. Experience in finance, auditing, compliance, risk management, accounting, or operations can be helpful, but it is not required.

A strong candidate is:

  • A Milestones member in good standing
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Comfortable reviewing reports and procedures
  • Able to handle confidential information with care and discretion
  • Interested in oversight, compliance, and accountability

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares about Milestones and wants to play a meaningful role in its future.
